Does this mean he is into me?

OK so I have this western perspectives class at school, and Tom is the GA (Graduate assistant). He is so cute! I work at the library in between classes, and he has an office in the library so I run into him all the time. And at first it was just hi and casual conversation about history or the Teacher. But I have noticed that since it is almost the end of the semester he has actually been talking to me more about different things. And today he actually went out of his way to come talk to me, he saw me working. I was going to say hi but he was talking to someone and I didn't want to interrupt him. After he was done talking he I saw him in passing heading toward the stairwell to leave, and said "hey man". I heard him open the door to the stairwell, and all I could think was "maybe he is not into me". Then I turn around and he is standing next to me and starts talking to me. So he stopped from leaving school walked all the way over to me to just talk to me. So the other girls at work think he is into me, but I'm such a bad judge of this kind of stuff. I mean this guy is cute, he is working on his masters degree so he has goals, ambition and follow-through. And I can have an intelligent conversation with him, and he doesn't get lost. Plus I told him I was a single parent, and he told me his mom was a single parent. So my question is what do you gals think, do you think he is into me? I really hope so.

So I just sent this guy an email telling him I was into him, and I'm really nervous about what he will say. But I'm hopeful he will either be into me or at least if its a no just be mature about it.
