Found a great place in Venice!

We originally were planning only 2 nights in Venice but changes at the other end of our time made it so that we had 2 extra days to fill. We can't arrive any earlier in Berlin and stay at the same hotel that we are already booked into, because they are full in the days prior to our reservation.

Rather than move hotels while in Berlin, we decided to look at staying another couple of days in Venice. The place we originally booked also was full, but we decided (read DH did all the work) to find other accommodations and he found a great apartment! It is great that I can cook if I want to, since eating out for EVERY meal can get a bit much (kids in restaurants, 3 times a day...ugg! LOL)

No, it's not a package...we are visiting relatives in various places and only spending about 1/3 of the time in hotels. DH has done all the researching and booking this year - I did it last year.
