Have Fleas? Need an economical way to kill them?

 Spring is in the air, and that means your furry little friends might have tiny little friends of their own. Veterinarians will tell you to buy all the expensive pesticides to go on your pet. Yes they work, but in today's economy many families cannot afford to use those products. Here is an alternative. I learned about it on a dog forum years ago. I'm one of the lucky ones. I don't have fleas in my home and my pets have been flea free for  years. However if that should ever change, I will be using Diatomaceous Earth (DE). I cannot stress enough that you must use FOOD GRADE DE. If you do not use food grade it is poisonous to children and pets.

What is DE?

DE is remains of one-celled plants (Phytoplankton) called diatoms. DE is mined from the beds of dried lakes. If you keep DE dry, it will not spoil.

Food grade De is a natural and effective pesticide that will kill fleas, worms, and many other parasites.

How it works:

DE absorbs moisture from the parasite. It can be sprinkled on your pets skin to kill fleas, and put in food to kill certain types of worms.
