#1 way to prevent illness! Please read!

I read a journal or post on CM a few weeks back about hand washing.  I couldn't believe how many moms admitted to not washing their hands after using a public restroom, but instead waited until leaving the restroom to use hand sanitizer.... AFTER they wiped, and AFTER they touched the door/door handle to get out.  (The same door the rest of us hand-washers touch to get out!!).  Seriously, what the heck!?

I know the majority of you probably wash your hands, I'm not bitching at you, but I DO use public restrooms so I KNOW for a fact that there's TONS of ladies out there that don't wash.  Hate to gross you out, but think it over...  You're wiping your butt and/or crotch... then touching doors and various other things that sooo many other people touch right after you do.

Putting the public restroom thing aside... think about this crazy mutated flu that's going around.  The numero uno thing that prevents colds/flu's and various other illnesses..... HAND WASHING!  I know there's mommas out there that don't like the whole antibacterial thing for various reasons... but honestly, all it takes is the water, ANY kind of soap, and some friction to get rid of these germs. 

Imagine if you was a patient in a hospital and none of your health-care workers ever washed their hands, would you be outraged!? Hell yes you would.   (and if they don't wash, speak up! you have every right to!)  I'd honestly like to see this same kind of respect and courtesy from the general public.
