It's all over.....but not for long.

Well the girls had their last comp yesterday at Busch Gardens. It was soooo freakin' hot! The train distracted our Tiny Tots and I think it cost them some points. Chrystal did well with her heavily scabbed knee. Both teams got 2nd.

A fellow cheer parent called me on the phone while she was on the LochNess. THEY WERE STUCK AT THE TOP!! No lie. She called me because it was almost award time and they for sure were not gonna make it. They sat up there for about 45 minutes. Everyone had to be brought down one at a time. All of them were given vouchers for an entire free meal.

We stuck around this time to ride some rides and check out the new kiddie attraction. Katie had her pic done with some of the Sesame Street characters. But did NOT like her first coaster ride. She was the only kid I saw crying from the ride the whole time we were in line. I will post some pics later.

Today was Donnie's birthday 'party' and now we are settling down from this hectic and hot weekend.

It's only a matter of time before the next cheer season starts. No rest for me....I will be helping out with the end of year party, there are tumbling/stunt and whatever else practices and CAR WASHES!!!!!!!!

For those who inquired about their child joining us, now is the time to get with me...esp if he/she needs or wants tumbling practice.

The Loch Ness..they were still testing it here.

YAY!!! That's great!!  I can imagine how hot it was there...you must be beat! And, your friend on the LN -- ewww, what a place to get stuck! Scary!! Hope you do get some "down" time!

Apr. 27, 2009 at 3:28 PM OMG I was gonna go to busch Gardens yesterday but it was so hot and I really didn't wanna take my son out in the heat. Gittin stuck at the top of LN is crazy I LOVE that ride. Well atleast she didn't get stuck when it went upside down. Glad you and your girls had fun. Maybe she might like another roller coster maybe just not the Big Bad Wolf. LOL!!!
