So, I have been researching & scouring the Internet for all the clues of if I should Homeschool my child or put her Public School. I have read alot on why homeschooling is better, yet I hear everyone talking down about homeschooling. So, I decided to do a simple google search "Why Public Schools are better than Homeschool?" automatically in the results the question was turned around and all i could find was MORE articles over why homeschooling is better...

This is the closest thing I came up with:

Why Public Schooling Is Better Than Homeschooling

Most parents were educated in the under funded public school system, and so are not smart enough to homeschool their own children.

Children who receive one-on-one homeschooling will learn more than others, giving them an unfair advantage in the marketplace. This is undemocratic.

How can children learn to defend themselves unless they have to fight off bullies on a daily basis?

Ridicule from other children is important to the socialization process.

Children in public schools can get more practice "Just Saying No" to drugs, cigarettes and alcohol.

Fluorescent lighting may have significant health benefits.

Publicly asking permission to go to the bathroom teaches young people their place in society.

The fashion industry depends upon the peer pressure that only public schools can generate.

Public schools foster cultural literacy, passing on important traditions like the singing of "Jingle Bells, Batman smells, Robin laid an egg..."

Homeschooled children may not learn important office career skills, like how to sit still for six hours straight.

examiner.com for the whole article

I thought this was interesting, so i had to share! But Id still love to find a few more articles over why Public Schooling is better! Honestly here! Can someone find a few good facts about why Public Schools triumph over Homeschooling?

I LOVE this.....sorry, can't come up with any reasons why public schooling is bad since well, I survived public schools, thus I homeschool!

And, sad to say, my dds learned Jingle Bells, Batman Smells from their dad and I.  And the Joker....he sings it in one of the cartoons.

I just wanted to say, I really enjoyed this post- it made me laugh!  The only reason I can come up with is a child could potentially be a good influence on the world around him more often in school than at home, but there again you run the risk of being "pulled down" by the world rather than "lifting the world up."    :)

Well that was interesting! Because we ALL Know of the amazing health benefits of flourescent lighting over natural SUNLIGHT! ahaha

I can say that public school probably is good for some people. Maybe it helps a reclusive body be more outgoing.

I went to public school my whole life, had horrible times, had good times. Didn't really have friends in school, they were all out of school friends.

We homeschool. It is the best thing for OUR family.

I think the reason you can't find anything is because of this...it is an EXTREMELY PERSONAL decision. Based on each family, and then based on each member of that family.
