So my hubby and I went to the court house and got married. We didnt let any family members or anything. We have always talked about having another wedding. I have always wanted a real wedding and I would absolutely love to have one this year since it is our 5 year anniversary. My neighbors mom is a caterer and has a lot of decorations and things becasue she also plans weddings and decorates for them. Here is what she offered us:
Use of all of her decorations
She would make my boquet
cater and make all the food for free
She would decorate for us
She would make our cake
Her daughter said I could have her wedding dress (it is a $800 dress but her daughter didnt end up getting married and was going to sell the dress in a garage sale)
A photographer that works with her offered to take pictures for free
A DJ who works with her offered to DJ for free
Her good friend is a Minister and he offered to do it for free
So we would only have to buy the food, but she would cook and cater for free, adn we would have to pay for a hall But my hubby said no . We have until November and I feel we shouldnt pass up an oppertunity like this. I am so bummed I was really excited about this!!!

wow thats crazy! i wish i could have all of those things at my wedding. my hubby and i got married at the court house too. and we are wanting to have an actual wedding of our own. but my sister got engaged and my parents are going all out for her wedding and giving us squat! i know how ya feel...kind of at least. if theres anything i could do just PM me and let me know!
