 It can be hard to be honest with others about your feelings.  Fear of ridicule or harassment is only the beginning, but often times, in truth, we have trouble being honest with others because we aren't fully being honest with ourselves.  This concept brings up new questions; how can I be lying to myself?  Can my thoughts, or my feelings, really be different from what my spirit really wants?  It may take some soul-searching, but really what this requires is a touch of bravery.  The faeries are encouraging you, right now, to be strong enough and bold enough to admit your true feelings to yourself!!

Message from the Faeries;
     "Do you feel stuck? Depressed? Tired?  Angry or irritable?  Those are symptoms that arise when we're dishonest with ourselves.  Maybe you feel that you can't afford to be honest with yourself and that you don't have a choice.  This card isn't asking you to make any radical life changes or have a confrontation with another person.  However, it is urging you to admit your true feelings to yourself.
    One easy way to get in touch with your true feelings is by going outside and engaging in silent conversation with the fairies that live amidst the flowers, trees, and grass.  Even if you can't see or hear the fairies, mentally tell them everything that you're thinking, feeling, and experiencing these days.  Ask them to help you get in touch with your deepest feelings.  The fairies love to hold a mirror up so that we can see and admit the truth."*

   Once we truly admit these feelings to our self, we can begin the healing process.  Acknowledging the truth of our feelings and situation is an amazing first step to recovery, and we may soon discover the powers of forgiveness, self-love, and love for others surging through our life in amazing ways!

Affirmation* "It is safe for me to be honest with myself and others.  I speak my truth with love"

The Faeries' Assignment;
       Journaling is another great way to be honest with yourself.  Get some paper and a pen and answer the following questions to yourself;

  • In what areas of my life am I not being fully honest with myself?
  • How is this affecting me and those around me?
  • Why does it scare me to admit these feelings?
  • Write down how these fears are actually silly and unfounded.  Write down the above affirmation in your journal, and write it again in a place where you can see it often or can carry it with you.

Go outside, spend some time in nature.  Enjoy the smells, the sounds, and relax.  Speak the affirmation to yourself, and begin to let yourself admit your true feelings to yourself and the Faeries.  Talk for as long as you need to, and remember that you can continue to be honest with yourself. Reward yourself by doing something just for you later on, Pamper yourself!!

That is so sweet. Thank you. I do feel better when I write things down but I keep alot to myself still. This is encouraging too.
