Alli had the full work up. She started with an EKG by our regular tech. Who went down memory lane remembering the night she was born and helping with Allison in the NICU and Chris bringing me in a wheel chair to the NICU. She remembered me sitting next to her in the NICU that night crying and how much of an impact we were on her. She said she usually remember the kids but never the parents, but in our case she remembers the whole family. Chloe included. She so sweet. We love her!
Allison then went on to have her echo cardiogram done with a new tech. He was a fellow. She did great. The poor guy needed her head tilted back to get a view of the heart from the top and he took a long time and she started crying because she was uncomfortable. So he brought in another tech and while she did it we blew bubbles to cheer her up.
She then went from there to get an xray of her chest. She had so much fun with that we had to retake her xray because I got her to giggling right when they took the first one. Before going in we saw two more nurses that remembered Allison and were very happy to see her so big and happy!
We also got her a medic alert bracelet after we were ALL done. She loves it too! It has hearts on the wrist band!
We got to sit down with her cardiologist who she told was Dr. Goober. She's all about calling everyone goober right now. He thought that was cute. He started off with her O2 sats. She stayed between 79% and 81% which is down from last time. He told us he couldn't get good pressure readings from the echo this time and that she is still having issues with her pulmonary artery being to small. He said she is now big enough to have a stint placed in the left pulmonary artery. So he said that he would like to get her in for a heart cath to get a better look around inside and see if he can get any better pressure readings and probably put her stint in. She has 3 leaky valves he wants to look at too. So he said he wants to get this done before summer is over. He is going to have his surgery nurse call us this week to set up her heart cath. Usually when she says sooner rather than later he has her put on the schedule early. This will make surgery number 11 for her.
I'm upset but I don't want to get too emotional yet. I need to wait until the cath is done and what the cardiologist finds and does for her. Hoping for the best!
I will let everyone know when her surgery get's scheduled. I started
the Make-A-Wish process yesterday. I will talking with someone from
Make-A-Wish tomorrow.
Comments:
Allison will be in our thoughts. Let us know when her surgery is scheduled, so we can put her in our prayers.

It's great that she did so well with all the procedures! I'm sorry she is having to go through so much. I'll be saying a prayer for Allison.
