Dear Mr. President,

 This is in reference to many of the public ratings and polls about you that have been released lately such as the one titled "The First 100 Days" and many of the others.  All I can say is that myself and *maybe* many of your other supporters tend to remain a bit quieter than those that are still wallowing in self-pity and disappointment at the very thought of you actually being their president.  Therefore, I don't know how accurate any of these Presidential ratings really are.  The people who usually have the most to say are the ones whose bitterness is fueled by anger and some even fueled by hatred and all they want to do is complain.  They live for the opportunity to make our president (and by our, I mean theirs too) look bad and will do so at any cost. Even if it means refusing to set aside their differences for the better of our country as a whole.  For those of us such as myself who support you in silence, please know that it is NOT because we don't believe in you nor is it because we are afraid of all of the people with so much disdain and rage toward you that they had already predicted you to fail before your very first day in office.  Rather, it is because we know that when we argue with a fool and an onlooker sees that argument, how are they to know which one of us is the fool? I'd much rather leave the foolishness up to them, especially since they have shown themselves to be so good at it. As for you, Mr. President: You rock! Please continue to keep up the good work.  I am sure that you knew what to expect from so many of these people who are stuck in their ways and refuse to allow change to happen in "their" country. For that reason, I know that you and your family were mentally prepared for it and that gives me great comfort.

my husband and I dont see eye to eye on the obama issue either. I think Obama will be just fine If people would give him a chance, He didnt get the nomination because he is ignorant for sure. I dont believe He would have gotten this office if he wasnt qualified for the job.My husband cant stand the man and its for all the wrong reasons, so I just refused to talk about it with him. there is no need.

I think he's doing the best he can. It took years for our country to get this bad, it will take him years to fix it. I admire him for taking on that job and I think he's off to a great start!
