So I get a call from the school to inform me they had DS in the office. They wanted to let me know that he will be serving ISS tomorrow.

It seems he was exchanging showing off his bare chest with a student of the opposite sex on the bus ride home from their field trip yesterday.

He flat out nonchalantly said yep I did and pretty E (that's what he calls her, it's always pretty E, not just E) did too.

I understand the serious side of talking to DS about why this was inappropriate and yes it did give us an opportunity to once again discuss personal space, body privacy, etc...

But let's get real here for a second shall we...

It's normal for children of this age to begin to be curious and begin exploring their bodies...

So...in between the mommy snicker and the got to be serious mommy mode, trying to lighten the mood with him a bit, I started joking around with him and told him his eyeballs will fall out if he keeps looking at girl's boobies.

Without missing a beat, as serious as he could be he replied with "Really?" ... long pause .... "Where did daddy get his new eyeballs?"

After regaining my composure a bit from laughter, I explained to him daddy's new eyes were damaged because he tried to peek and that's why he wears glasses now.

Again without missing a beat, he says "When do I get my new glasses?"
