Bittersweet Symphony

Life as I know it ...

So we never had a real wedding. I never had the dress, the flowers, the bridesmaids ... all that.  We went to have a vow renewal ceremony (who knows when that willa ctually happen ... sometime next year at the earliest)

Also, my ring started falling apart after a few years and eventually the whole center stone and setting POPPED off!  He returned it.  So now I have a ring that is the same style as the ring we got married with, but not THE ring.  I'm afraid to have it resized because I don't want it to fall apart too.

And with everything that we've been through and the old marriae that that ring symbolizes ... we've been looking at new rings too.

Here are the choices I've narrowed it down to:

I like this one, but it's not the ring I THOUGHT I would like!  I've always gone more for the princess, emerald or ascher cuts and more simple.  But I love the atique feel to this one and the swirls on the sides that look like butterflies.

I like this one, but Robert doesn't like the triangles on the sides.  He says it looks like a UFO!  I'm not sure how I feel about it,  I like the overall look of it.

This is basicly the same ring, but with an emerald cut center stone.  I would get it with the matching band, like the fone above.

I like the balance of this and the three princess cut stones.  But it doesn't have a band to go with it.

I like the three stone rings because I know they are supposed to symbolize past, present and future ...  It kinda means that to me, but it also reminds me of my three kids too!

This is the pretty much the same ring as the one above it, but with an ascher cut for all three stones.  Again, no matching band for this one.

So what do you think?
