My Daughters Senior Year

Well this year has been a tough one! My daughter is the oldest of my two children and the first to leave the nest. I have done a lot of worrying and asking my self what if. She is a very level headed teenager that knows what she wants but it is still tough knowing that she will not be with me all the time anymore. Just thinking about having to pick up the phone to hear her voice is saddening and very troubling. I hear all these horror stories everyday on the news and it concerns me, but what are we as mothers suppose to do. We can not keep them from growing up and going out to live their own lives all we can do is raise them the best we can, be there when they need us, and pray that everything will be okay. So to my beautiful daughter Dusti, I love you more than life itself and pray that you will always remember I am here for you no matter what.
