Expecting baby gerbils...

We will be breeding a couple of beautiful Gerbils soon. I am going to try to figure out how to set up a web page for them. In the meantime if you know anyone in Colorado who might be interested in baby gerbils as soon as early June let me know. They will be for sale $5 each, (Free if you are family or close friend). They will only be sold in same sex pairs because Gerbils are very social and happiest when they have a friend.

The dad is siamese (a beautiful shade of grey with black nose, black tail, and black ear tips.)

The mom is a white bellied Golden Agouti.

The babies could look like mom or dad or any golden and/or grey color combination.  They both have black eyes so the babies will as well. (Some gerbils have ruby eyes.)  I will post pictures of available babies when they arrive! 

The gestation of gerbils is about 28 days and the babies can go to new homes at 5 or 6 weeks old.  Siamese gerbils won't start to darken on the tail and nose until they are about 8 weeks though so it might be hard to tell at first if any look like the dad.

 

These gerbils will not be sold or given as feeders.
