Here the elementary schools use old worn, washed socks for chalkboard erasers and dry erase board erasers.

Great suggestion on the rice/sock hot pack --- I've done that myself~!
I did just that for my lower back when I was pregnant! --- It really helped alot with the lower back pain issues!
