This week is Teacher Appreciation Week and my son's elementary school has a different theme for every day this week. Today's theme is "My Teacher is Sweet" and we were supposed to send in a little candy or a treat for our child's teacher.
Yesterday I stamped a really cute gable box from Stampin' Up and made cute little tags. I even stamped the tissue paper that went inside!! Anyway, Adam and I put the tissue paper in the box, put 8 Reese Fast Breaks and 8 Snack Size M&Ms in the bottom. Then we folded the tissue paper over. On the top, my son came up with 8 reasons why he's glad he's in his teacher's class. I printed them off on the computer, cut them out, and he taped them to 8 snack size Hershey chocolate bars. We lined those up on the top, closed the box and then he wanted to make a little card. We took some leftover paper I had stamped on and he wrote a sweet little note inside. I thought it turned out really cute!! So here is the picture of the finished product :

Tomorrow is "My Teacher Sticks by My Side" day and I'm sending in post-it notes in the shapes of stars and flowers....gotta come up with some catchy little saying to put on the bags. Any ideas?

AWWWWWWWWWWWWW! What a creative and thoughtful gift...I would love if a student game me that. Your son definitely gets an "A" for his mom! :)
