I started watching The Biggest Loser a couple weeks ago. Every time I watch it I ball my eyes out. It is so amazing how they lose so much weight in such a small time. If they can do it anyone can. I am not even saying lose it fast like that because we can not all stop working and exercise 24/7 and have a personal trainer but we can do more than what we already do now I bet.

I have seen several posts on here about wanting to lose weight.  I am one of them. It could help my diabetes and other health problems. It is hard to lose weight when you are diabetic. No that is not a excuse, it is proven fact. I am going to exercise a LOT more and eat better. It's not like we eat bad but we don't eat all that great. My doc also said that Weight Watchers is the way to go. She said not to do Slim Fast, Jenny Craig or anything else.

Here are some websites that can help you out with info etc.

i just don't know about the tactics they use.  One of the BL winners is back to his old weight, I don't know that they teach life habits because the people drop the weight so fast.  In 12 weeks you just can't relearn what 20 or so years has taught you.

I like the show though!  G/L on your weight loss journey girl.

With starting my physical therapy before surgery I have been going two times a week and just the SIMPLE things they have me do I can feel it. So I just think what if I did a regular exercise routine.

A friend of mine was on the show.  It was a couples show, and her father didn't want to be there, so they went home the first week.  She's still involved with many of the people she met on the show, and has continued losing weight and getting healthier.  She's helped me in several ways, and is definitely motivating.  Excuses are no longer a part of her life.  It's amazing how much more you can do when you stop making excuses.

If I don't walk for do something to burn calories there's not way I lose any weight. Then, I get more of an appetite when I do exercise, so it's an endless cycle. But, exercise makes me feel better and in a better mood to eat right...and dedicated to eat less. It's not easy though...like those tv shows make it look. Even so, watching it does motivate me a little bit too.
