I am not saying it is a bad thing. Trust me. I am just new to it. New wife, especially to a U.S Marine. Military life is rather new to me. Hubby and I just moved into off post housing. Lakehurst. Its different. I am so young, I don't know if I will make friends my age, or friends older than I am. I am only 20. I have never been so shy in my entire life. Usually Im good with meeting people and making new friends. I think this time I may be intimidated. These wives have more than likely been doing this for years. (The moving, the new friends, going stir crazy at home, etc.) My husband just hooked up the internet for me, so that's like a big thing....gives me something to do before I go to work at 11pm. I mean, you can only clean so much until you've basically Mr. Cleaned your whole house and it smells like a giant lemon exploded in it.
Hubby's gone for hours. His day could start at 3am and not end til 11pm. Lately it's been good. Its been from 8:00am to about 9:30pm. And no, there is no typo. As much as I don't want to leave my family in Jersey...I can't wait til we get our next orders, and he goes back to his fleet. Then maybe he and I will get our schedules right and we can have a "normal" relationship. Haha. ![]()
