Really, do people really believe if your older, your a better parent? I just turned 20 years old. My husband is 22. We have a 20 month old DD and are expecting our second DD in a couple of weeks. I am sick of hearing that I must be a bad mom, b/c I am so young, there is NO way that I can provide for my child. We both work & are finaciallyy stable. If my DD needs something, I can go to the store & buy it for her, no problem. No worrying about money. I am going to college & pursuing my goals to provide even better for my children. We pay rent & I don't see whhy the misconception. I know that not all young moms are good moms. But, I am. I know I am. IMO I don't believe age defines how good of a parent you are, AT ALL! I am sick of being judged, am I wrong to feel this way.?

You're not wrong to be upset. Not all young moms are good moms. Not all older mom are good moms. I think every situation is very different from mother to mother. In the end, we're all mothers and should support each other in our choices as parents instead of trying to knock each other down with judgemental comparisons. BTW, it's great that you're going to college to provide a better future for you kiddos. =)
