Take it easy on yourselves, Ladies!!

Why are some of you ladies so hard on yourselves??   I've been reading some recent posts and I just want to tell you that we all need to give ourselves a total break here!!  One of you fine ladies had a horrible migraineand got pissed because she needs help and got very little, another is worried because her SO cheated on her and she is scared and insecure now... Ladies, ladies, please!!  Someone tell me where it is written that we are not allowed to be vulnerable?  Where is it written that we are not allowed to need help?  WE are human beings!  We have the right to have feelings and needs.  If someone hurts us we are allowed to be pissed off about it.  If we are hurt we are allowed to need a helping hand!!  Aren't we the helping hand, the shoulder, the support and foundation for everyone else all the time?  None of us is Superwoman, though all of us are super women!  It isn't right to think that just because we are in a relationship, our needs and feelings and rights have to be put last all the time.  It is ok to once in a while say; "Stop a minute, I am sad, or in pain, or stressed, or tired!"  When our SO gets sick, he calls in and spends the day being cared for.  Who do we call to have a sick day?  I don't know about some of you ladies, but even when we go on vacation, I am the one who plans the vacation, books the condo or hotel, does all the packing and makes sure the house is clean before we leave.  We work even when everyone else is chilling out!!  Marriage is not indenture!  We are supposed to be part of a TEAM !  So cut yourselves some slack and remember that you are allowed to be a person.  You are allowed to have needs, please STOP FEELING GUILTY!!
