So, I kind of have something big going on in my offline life right now.
I have been having chronic daily headaches since late March of 2008. At that point I was pregnant so they said it was just hormones and it would get better once I had the baby. Well, Robert was born Oct 28 and I have continued to have the headaches. I also am getting migraines about once a week or so.
So I went to my normal doctor who is wonderful. Turns out I am having high blood pressure still (was told I had pregnancy induced hypertension). He has tried 2 different daily meds for blood pressure & headache with no results for my headaches. So I was referred to a neurologist. Last week I went to see him.
In the office he asked questions and did some tests to check my nervous system. I did fine with everything, but I wasn't too surprised. I mean I have 2 kids under the age of 3, if my balance or walking or vision was off I would have noticed. So he set up an MRI that I had today.
I went this morning and had the MRI done. When it was over the tech seeing me out wouldn't look me in the eye and told me my doctor would call me. Which the neurologist did call me, on my cell, about an hour later. And now I have an appointment tomorrow. Which I was told to bring my husband to. So he's coming with me.
So now I am officially freaking out. Is there any reason to think that there is good news? I want so badly to be calm but this does not feel like the situation where someone is told all is fine in their world. I could really use everyone's good thoughts and prayers right now.
Comments:
I'll keep you in my thoughts. My daughter has had some issues with migraines and also sees a neurologist. I hope all goes well for you.
I am praying for you! I know all that stuff is scary. Keep your head up, you'll get through it.
