Viability means in general "capacity for survival" and is more specifically used to mean a capacity for living, developing, or germinating under favorable conditions. The word is especially used in the following contexts:

People throw this term around they say its not a Person its only a potential person if its not viable. The term Viability is a scam,  many born people can be considered not viable based on the pro-choice definition of the term. 

A 1 year old child isn't any more viable than a unborn child, both need a care giver to feed them and provide them with shelter to survive, the same goes for a disables adult.

I will also say that a child at fertilization is viable as long as the embryo is allowed to implant into the uterus and live and grow it is viable..

Viability has nothing to do with a person being able survive out side the womb if so, technically no ones life is viable if their right to food, water and shelter is denied that means every single one of us...

The term Viability is a scam please don't buy into it, think about what I have said above, this is cause for logical thinking, the lives of Humans are at stake....
