I joined last year, but I have been so busy I didn't know how much this site had to offer.  I believe I am not the only mom out there that wants to make a difference in our communities for our children.  I am hoping that this message reaches many.  In addition to wanting to make friends myself, I am hoping to have other moms see our organization as a Blessing and want to help to make a difference.  http://www.TeenMomsFriendsClub.org

I would love to meet other moms, and moms of teen moms, so that I feel like I have someone to talk to.  I have friends, but my best friend is 40 without children, not married.  My other friends have families and seem to be too busy to get together.  Being the mom of a teen mom myself, I really need some friends.  I'd like to start a Young Grandparents Group in Maryland so that I can get together in person with some other young grandparents and see how they are handling things.

I pray this Journal Post finds many moms.  Support seems to be the best medicine for most things.  I look forward to hearing from other moms.

how old is your daughter? i feel off the tail end of being a teen mom so i'm just a young mom. but i completely agree that support is the best help. my husband and i live with my parents and my mom watches our son whenever our schedules overlap. i work 2 jobs and go to school. my husband only works one full time but he has to drive 30-45 minutes and has unpredictable hours.

My daughter turned 18 in March.  My granddaughter turned 1 in February.  I developed a number of programs, with the help of other professionals, to educate our teen and young parents.  Moms and Dads.  We work with a mom who is 43, but who began as a teen mom.  We do not stop helping at 19.  If we do, our whole mission is lost.  Our site is http://www.TeenMomsFriendsClub.org  Stop by and visit it some time.

I wish I could stop the teenage attitude.  I feel like I could pull out my hair at times.

Thanks for writing.  I hope to hear again from you.
