MINNESOTA BOOSTER LAW!!!!!!

You just can't understand the joy that I feel right now!  This has been a long time waiting and for them to pass a booster law is just phenomenal!!!!  The governor needs to sign the bill, but from our understanding, he will.  Show your support [e-mail]!!!  Even if you aren't a resident of Minnesota, show your support for your friends children, relatives, etc etc.  Such an amazing milestone in Minnesota!  No more 4 year olds LEGALLY riding in seatbelts!!  I don't know ONE 4 year old that can fit properly in a seatbelt, so this is a HUGE deal.

I was literally in tears reading about this this morning.  What a WONDERFUL email to wake up too!  I want to applaud the CPS advocates that have been working on this so diligently the past few years!  8 years old AND 4'9" to be out of a booster...that is FANTASTIC news!!!

awesome news!!!  It so sad to know some parents just dont care about safety and it takes steps like this to ensure the safety of our kids.

I forgot to add.. I cant IMAGINE putting Trin in nothing but a seat belt , i mean she'll be 4 in Dec and still rear facing for crying out loud. WTH would I have her in nothing. But then again...Im the "mean"mommy whose kindergartener still rides in a 5 pt harness
