Guilt: Never Goes away.

•     Every word, every look. I feel guilty. I am constantly guilty. No matter what i do or say i end up feeling like i did something wrong. My kids. They know how to make me feel guilty and they don't even know it i guess.   All I can think about is the following things.    What if they dont like me? What if they end up hating me? Am I hurting their feelings, will they end up in therapy because of me, am I emotionally scarring them. I second guess everything i do with my kids. I just want them to be happy but i end every day feeling like i was too hard on them or oh they dont like me now or that wasn't right or something like that. Hmmmm.......maybe its just me.

You'll never have to worry about them not liking you. They love you. Its much better than just like. They might not like your rules, or when you say something they don't want to hear. But they will always love you.

Believe me , i know. I have a mother too!!!

If you teach them to respect your authority and the authority of others, there will be times when they don't like you because they would rather be their own authority, of course.  But when they are grown, they will love and appreciate that you were caring enough to do the hard stuff.  Every good mom has the "I hate you" words, but they don't mean them.  So please don't feel guilty,  Teach them to obey and they will love you for it.  I promise.

girl your kids love u and your a great mom, just stop being sad about it.. we all feel like that at one point.. like i said your ther for your kids, u love them, the care for them, they love u. but kids are kids. and yes one day one of them will look at u and say i hate u or i wish u was never my mom. and thats called being a teen, cuz they want to be ther boss.. but dont ever give up. cuz u know what is best for them they dont.. and when they say that they are just trying to make u give in.. they will allways love u.. u are ther mom.
