my kids say that thy don't need me any more

once you give birth to the love of you life ,,,,,,,there's more acceptance.more crazy talking and more love than we have ever known as moms...i am having a hard time explaning myself...my daughter just told me what a great mom i am and that i have thaught my children all they need to know to be grown -ups and that they don't need me any more...what's up with that??????

I live 300 miles away from my parents.  I call them weekly which in a way is a waste of time because they NEVER answer their phone.  LOL..I guess they are enjoying their time without children..

However, when times get rough, I get sick or have surgery..my mom is the one I call or cry for..To say that I don't need her even at the age of 34 would be a total lie..

Trust me..when she gets into a bind she will  need you..
