 We have a young man in our town who has had a truly terrible thing happen in his life. 2 weeks ago he was at his track meet when he collasped. He suffered a stroke and was rushed to the hospital. He has since been transported to Hershey Medical where he is staying in the pediatric intensive care unit. He is only 13 years old. His first surgery was successful but he suffered a set back on Tuesday and had to have another procedure done to help ease the swelling in his brain. I have his younger brother in my class and all of this is having an impact on him as well. He is being very brave overall.
