SAY SOMETHING NICE ABOUT A BIKER DAY...BECAUSE I SAID SO!!! ;-)

For those of you who haven't been online here yet and don't know LYNDELOU'S husband TURBO was involved in a hit and run!!! Some ass hole hit him and drove away, leaving him pinned under his motorcycle. This is bad enough to hit someone with your car but someone on a bike who doesn't have metal surrounding them for protection, and then to drive away? I could use every curse word in the book and never come close to expressing how pissed off I am right now!!! Yes, there are bikers that are criminals just like there are people riding around in station wagon cars who have done horrible things. Don't judge someone by what they drive. My town is full of bikers, biker bars, and tons of biker stuff. They are always nice to my children at wave at them, they do a lot of volunteer work at Christmas time to help low income children get toys from cub and many other kind hearted things. One of them made Asher's day when he let him touch his bike. When I see a biker I'm always worried I might hit them or something and SLOW DOWN. So I'm declaring today say something nice about a biker day. Whether it's someone you met or someone who know of.

So here's mine...

I'm going to talk about a group of "tough" bikers in new york who call them selves RESCUE INK. They go and "break in" to people homes who are abusing animals and take them bu force if necessary. They then fix them up and adopt them out. How wonderful is that?!!!? these are their two site links if you'd like to invite them as a myspace friend or donate $ to them...

Thanks for posting this...great idea! I know LYNDELOU and TURBO appreciate your support!

Last year when LYNDELOU and I were collecting LIDS for Breast Cancer (SAVE LIDS to SAVE LIVES Campaign) she and TURBO did a bike run! (I think the link is going to throw off your margins, sorry)!

I don't know who they are, but sometimes people are so terrible to do these things. I hope he gets better soon.  Here lately around here we've had a few locals on motorcyles have some accidents.  Its really important that you drive carefully and watch them, I know if a car gets real close my husband gets a little nervous.  Bikers aren't bad people they are the same as everyone else, some good some bad you can't help the way people are but who they are has nothing to do with it.

Ill say something nice about a biker I, personally, kno......My husband!
The sweetest, most handsome, smartest, most lovin man Ive ever known!
We, ourselves, usually do a couple of Poker Runs a year =)
Theyre a great way to raise money for wonderful organizations whyll doin something that we love!

Just curious would you prefer to read a post about people bashing and insulting each other? Is that better entertainment for you. I'm gonna stop now because I'm getting annoyed and this post isn't suppose to be about me, it's about what wonderful people bikers are too :-)!!! So please just bring your drama else where.
