Regarding my Thoughtbubble: Feeling like a greedy B*tch

Ok, so if you read my previous journal, you have an idea about whats going on w/ my DS & his school...well, Wed. night my DH graduated from college & afterwards, my FIL took us out to dinner. Over dinner he said that after June (when DS is out of school) his present to my DH (and me) for graduating & his bday was that he was sending us to LONDON for 7-10 days!!! They would watch the kids! I was so excited! The only place I've been other then the US is Italy. Dh has been to London & a few other places before...Without telling me, he went to his parents yesterday and told them, "instead of sending us to London, he wants to have DS put in private school".  I couldnt believe he did that.  I understand what he wants & I totally agree. The school already had problems with DS(being bullied and anger outbursts after it had happened)  & now this & kids like that usually get pushed aside.  Yesterday the principal asked me if he was ADHD!!!  No, he's not...anyway, I can see my husbands side of this... I just wish he said something to me first instead of telling me as an after thought.  I would have agreed with him, but now I was so psyched that I was going to see London & now Im not...and I feel like a greedy bitch for thinking like this :(  It didnt phase him much cause he's already been there! Seriously...why dont men think before opening their big fat mouths?

Ohh.  I am so with you.  I would die to go to London.  I would be very upset if my husband did that behind my back!  London would be an awsome place to visit.  To bad my hubby is scared to fly...  It was so hard to get him to take a 5 hour flight from here to seattle!!  We wont be vacationing anytime soon though.  Good luck with everything, and if your a greedy bitch than so am I.  Its ok to be greedy once in awhile if we were not greedy we wouldnt have anything!!

Oh,  I feel you.  I've never been off the continent,  and I would be over the moon if someone offered to pay my way.  And then to have it fall thru?  I'd be fried.

I'm sure you will get over it (because this IS better for your son).  but I do understand.

LoL, yeah what is wrong with you!! I would feel the same way. I haven't even left the states so hey when it is time it will happen. I agree DH should had said something to you b4 hand.
