Quick update on Boobye Sue

Ok, so she's still not any better!   Call the Dr. yesterday morning and they asked if she was chewing gum?  No, I'd forgot, I'm just trying to get her to drink and eat.  She did chew did gum and said it hurt.  This kid has been screaming and shrieking in pain every couple of hours for the past week.  The Dr. called back yesterday afternoon and said one of cultures came back showing bacteria.  ???  I don't know weather to be relieved or peeved.  The changed her antibiotic and she threw it up this morning.  I called the DR. and they're going to see her today.  (I've only called every other day for the past week!!!)  She's lost so much weight.  I' really feel guilty, this surgery was suppose to help her.

Sweetie, I can't imagine how frustrated you must be at this point.  Not just because your baby girl isn't doing any better, but because of the hassle with doctors and such.  I want to really encourage you!  Consider these set-backs as a "blip on the radar" and know that in the long run, the surgery will help her.  She will feel better soon, she won't get sick as much in the future, she will gain the weight back! 

Know that I am still praying for you all, and that includes the doctors.

Oh, bless her heart.  I know it's hard seeing her in pain, but honestly, it is not your fault.  Like Christy said, this will be a "blip in the radar" soon.

Poor little girl!  I am so sorry that you both are going through this!  I will keep you both in my prayers.
