I'm an Aunt again!!

So either Wed. or Thurs. my 2yo nephew - aka my SIL - calls me on my cell while I'm at work. After I spoke with William a bit, Jackie and I were talking and she was either very nearly or just over-due. She was explaining how she was asking her OB if there was anything she could do to speed it up/help it along, etc. I told her to give the hubby a chance *wink* Either she took my advice or the baby was afraid she would, LOL, because she apparently went into labor yesterday and gave birth to my newest nephew!! YAY!!

(I might be off on the spelling because I haven't seen it yet, but) Braiden was born at 308 by emergency c-section (his BP kept dropping and her labor just wasn't progressing :o( ) He weighed in at a nice solid 8# and is 21" long. Both mommy and baby are doing terrific, although she is understandably tired. (First child was "natural" birth.) I'm'a go visit them tomorrow before my 11-730 shift, so I might have a thing or two to say tomorrow to update. Guess I'm next. *deep breath*

Yeah, no stress. lol
