Walking through a Louisiana Walmart, looking for "girl products" I had
no idea that our life was about to change. I knew I would be starting
on the car ride home (2000 miles away) and wanted to be prepared with a
good brand (not the cheap stuff you buy in a gas station - girls, you
know what I mean).
2 days later, we arrived home. I hadn't started, but I didn't give it a second thought. E, however, did.
"You don't think you're pregnant, do you?"
"No. Not a chance. Maybe it's just stress or the trip."
5 days pass.
"You don't think you're pregnant, do you?"
"Absolutely not. I would know if I was pregnant!"
4 days pass. We're walking through the grocery store.
"Maybe we should pick up a pregnancy test." (this was me this time... I was starting to worry.)
Completely blank look on E... "Ok."
We
didn't talk for several hours. (I don't know that I had anything to
say, I don't know if he had anything to say. But I'm pretty sure
neither of us wanted to hear what they other may have had to say.)
