I am so proud of Z I can't stand it! I am just overjoyed at what a cool little person she is. I am shocked by how quickly 2 years can flit on by. Z is a bright, focused, imaginative little girl, who takes much delight in ordering her world just so. (Gives me an idea of what DH must feel living with me!) She loves eating blackberries,"flamingos," (mangoes which isn't nearly as exciting as the idea of eating flamingos!) and cauliflower. She still is sleeping close by, and it is such a treat waking up with her, and getting to be the recipient of her warm more asleep than awake snuggles. She is a cheerful sort that enjoys breaking into song. She enjoys her little friends and is even "saving for Wyatt' some crackers in her carseat. Not my thing, but maybe Wyatt will think they are de-lish! She is so generous she even decorated my window with hard to get off stickers because it was a "present for Grandma." She loves dumping out stuff and picking up, well as Z says "Mama do it, Mama pick up." She hears airplanes before we see them and isthrilled to point them out to us. She gets a kick out of yelling at the squirrel to get away from her birdfeeder, and now that her pacifier is gone the squirrel isn't the only one flooded in her deluge of a vocabulary. She only bites occasionally and is down to hitting the cat about only every 3 weeks or so, but she does apologize to the cat and blow the cat a kiss.

Happy birthday Zoe! It is all I can do not to go wake them up so we can all sing "Happy Birthday" to such a great girl.

Woohoo! Z is SO LUCKY to have such am awesome mama!! Do you realize that over half of this post is a lesser mama's nightmare? Crackers in the carseat, stickers on the window, dumping stuff all over the place, hitting the cat, biting - oh my! But you see through the inconveniences to things more important - a little girl's generosity, uniqueness, growth, learning, and joy. Happy birthday, Zoe!! I am so happy that I got to know your mom!!!
