When you've been with your partner for a while, dates can start to feel like your own version of the movie Groundhog Day. You go to dinner, you see a movie, you do some shopping together — and it's always the same. Well, it's time to take the déjà vu out of monogamous dating!

Oddly enough, a great way to stir things up is to actually repeat a date: your first one. You can do this literally or not, depending upon logistics. Think about the first time you were alone together — were you in your dorm room studying and kissing? Did you go to the opera? Did you actually do dinner and a movie? Even if it seems totally silly now, try to recreate the little details to help bring back that time. Wear a similar outfit, eat the same food. Reminisce about what it was like together.

Once you've relived your fantastic first, keep that mind-set going. Start dating each other again as if you've just discovered love — and each other. Get to know each other's interests, quirks, and delicious details all over again. Find what brings you joy as a couple. Get a new lease on your relationship — there's a whole world out there for you to explore together. The sky's the limit!
