I found an expert willing to evaluate the baby...and Bryan is still fighting me

Well I have done a lot of research and I have found a number of surgeons and hospitals that maybe able to help Scarlett/Dorian.
I have been emailing surgeons for the past 2 days and one in Texas email me back with the contact information of one of his colleagues that is an Pediatric Cardiologist and an expert in utero diagnostician.
She already called and left me a voicemail and is willing to see us to give her opinion...they take our insurance we just have to get a referral from our doctor.
And Bryan is fighting me the whole entire way....he seems to be stuck on terminating Scarlett/Dorian because it may give Autumn/Indiana a better chance at survival....even though the procedure could cause us to lose both....
He is driving me crazy....

I totally agree. You need to get as many second opinions as you can while there is time. You don't want to lose either, but you need to be prepared to handle whatever comes down the line. If there is a way to save the baby, you need to persue it. I know that he is probably being this way because he is scared and uncertain, but you need to do it!
yeah i would definately get that second opinion. is he telling you that he doesn't even want you to hear what the doctor has to say? i would ask him what the harm would be in just listening to her opinion and then making a decision from there. you never know this doctor could save the baby and make it to where the baby is relatively healthy.

I believe like everyone else you need to get a second opinion sweetheart. With your condition of Crohn's and this happening you do not need the stress. As a mother myself you need to know you have done everything you can to save them both. If he does not understand let him know that and maybe he will come around. I will be praying for you my friend. Love to you
I say the second opinion is worth it!
Get that second opinion, then at least hopefully you will have more answers than what you do now.

I say go see the other doctor. You have to come at this from all sides girlfriend. Knowledge is power, and until you have enough , you cant make a decision, and neither can Bryan.
