Boys and growth spurts

My son is 7. At this particular moment he is going through a growth spurt. How do I know this? 1: his jeans are starting to get a little snug and short. 2: he is eating me out of house and home.
Growing up, I always heard that phrase "eating me out of house and home" and I never believed it, until now. I'm big on whole, organic and natural foods in our house and I know the food I am feeding this boy is well-rounded, healthy and filling. So it's not like I am feeding him processed garbage that makes you crave more and more.....even when you are not hungry. He eats a regular meal and within an hour or so, he is rooting around in the kitchen for more food.
LOL! Mom's with little boys, watch out. It's coming. Before long I won't need to look down to look into my precious baby's eyes. Before long, it will be the other way around......*sigh*
