stupid hospital personal

well i went in today to pre register at the hospital.  and when it came down to the birth cirtificate and the baby's rights thing, the hospital staff had to do 2 sets of papers, one with my last name and the other with the last name i wanted.  they told me that this is only the 3 time that they have ever had to do this.  they do not like having to do this, so they were not wanting/willing to do it for us.  i asked for a supervisor.  i finaly got my way.  they are not happy about it at all, but i don't give a flying POOP about what they think, he is my son and i have done it once before with my "ANGEL SON".  the girls will have andrew's name and the boys will have my maiden name.  it was decided over a decade ago.  so even if i have to go back to my maiden name so that i can do this i flipping will. i want my boys to have my maiden name not the married name.  andrew is the one that has said this not me.  GRRRRRR oh well going to have a fight on my hands in some way or another.

whats their problem..?  why do they even care?  its not like you are naming your child some crazy name like that one, tallula does the hula from hawaii, or whatever the heck it was.

Well thats stupid! I am sorry you had to deal with that. At our hospital they give you a piece of paper after the babys birth to fill out their name and you can name them whatever you want, they dont automatically get the dads last name, even with married people. Thats a dumb hospital rule.

you know me darling. my son has both last names. briana just has mine cuz if she gets married its changing already. Jaydon can choose when he is older which last name he goes by or both if he so chooses
