May. 22, 2009 at 7:09 PM That is seriously messed up. One of my biggest fears is drowning and that is absolutely torture. Duh.

What a bunch of wussies!  I can hold my breath under water the ENTIRE length of an Olympic sized swimming pool.

Who cares if it is torture, what the terrorists did to our citizens on 9-11 was way worse than having water poured over them.  At least they got to live!

That's very interesting, Rebecca. And, these guys had an out---they weren't forced to continue doing it for the full time period that the people it is used on are.

I want to be better than a terrorist. I want my children to be better than terrorists. And Brie, I want you and your children to be better than the terrorists. There's no winning in the end if we can't come back to the moral position and authority and status in the world that we held at the beginning of this.

Yes and people tortured my Christ.  I think torture is hideous and ugly and is against everything the country was founded on.

Irishcoffee, the Geneva Convention DOES NOT apply to the terrorists imprisoned at GITMO.  I wish people would do their homework and quit saying that!  Bottom line...these terrorists don't have, or deserve, any rights.  We should show them the same treatment they showed the American citizens who died on 9-11.  We got what we needed out of them, instead of even considering the asinine idea of bringing them to prisons in the U.S. they should just take them out and execute them.

We no longer have any use for them, and there's no doubt if they're let go, they'll return to terrorism.  No other country wants them either, not even the countries they CAME from.  We had Bin Laden in our grips when Clinton was in office and they let him go, look at the results.

I have absolutely no tolerance or respect for terrorist sympathizers.  That's about as anti-American as you can get, and is right up there with treason!

Does anybody know if anybody was actually killed by being waterboarded?

I couldn't even watch all of it.  I stopped 3 min into it.  This is sad that people take risks like this.
