Well-behaved women

rarely make history.

Someone asked a question in the Answers section a few hours ago. It said something to the tune of "Is anyone else annoyed by "special needs" people?"

I'm pretty sure that it was a troll.

But I really don't care.

It makes me sick to my stomach to even think about it. I know that there are people in this world that hate people with disabilities. They are ignorant, plain and simple. They are uneducated and quite frankly I have NO TOLERANCE for anyone who thinks disabled people are "freaks."

This is my little brother Matthew.

He is ten years old.

He was diagnosed with cerebral palsy when he was a year old. He got cerebral palsy as a result of medical malpractice when my stepmom was getting her c-section.

LOOK AT THAT CHILD.

DOES HE LOOK LIKE A FUCKING FREAK TO YOU?

He has a 100% normal mind. He KNOWS that he is different.

He KNOWS what is going on with his body.

But what he does not know, what is so SICKENING to me, his older stepsister, is the HATE that some people have for people like him.

He cannot help his condition.

He will NEVER be what society considers "normal."

He will NEVER walk like other people do.

He will NEVER have perfect motor skills like other people do.

And because some people are so fucking SICK in this world, he will have to deal with HATE and PREJUDICE from IGNORANT, UNEDUCATED IDIOTS!

I rest my case.

DO NOT FUCK WITH FAMILY MEMBERS OF DISABLED PEOPLE!

Haha babymomma, that's not the best picture of him, that's the only one I could find xD He looks so ghetto there hahahaha. But he really is adorable with his blonde hair and blue eyes! He's a ladie's man, now that he's ten he's all into girls. Every time he sees a girl he'll go "Hey baby!" Ahahahaha.

Being a mommy of a special needs child. You are so right you dont want to mess with me when it comes to my son.

Also working with adults with special needs. If you are in my range and you say some nasty about someone with special needs, I will call your ass out it in a hearbeat.

By the way he is so cute.

I absolutely hate HATE when anyone picks on anyone disabled.  The majority of the fights I got into in school were with people who were making fun of the special needs kids. I can't stand it when someone does that. Oh MAN...I am TICKED now. How mean can someone possibly be?!

BTW.....Your brother is one handsome dude!!! You make sure to give him a HUGE hug for me...and when he asks what it is for...tell him because he IS VERY special, and wonderful!!!

THANK YOU MOMMA!!! I feel the SAME way.. I take care of an Autistic little boy, and last night we went to a local carnival. The people in front of us in line were so RUDE... screaming and carrying on, made poor Gavan very nervous and 'twitchy' (its a fond reference.. he was very upset by this group tho) When I asked them if they would mind keeping it down, that they were upsetting him.. they looked at me like I had 10 heads and moved to the end of the line. From then on all I heard from behind us was about the freak and his pushy mom.... first off I"m not his mom but I do care about the kid and if someone is going to do something that is making him act out and be upset.. I'm GOING to say something about it. I really almost smacked one of them.. but it was nice when his mother (who was a couple feet away and heard the whole thing) went over to them and REAMED them for calling HER SON a freak and disrespecting an autistic child.
