I know you're thinking...

"Not my computer...
"

But reality dictates:  Indeed yours, and many others.

ALL without their knowledge!

Most of the slowing issues or browser problems found on a computer are usually due to clean up and maintenance neglect.

Most people think "Not my computer..." ---- because they simply do not realize that so much can accumulate in such a short amount of time, and without their express consent.

Clean up issues are usually ignored because the user assumes that their one or two anti tools that they have will keep their system running clean and smooth --- This simply is not true.

Think of it this way....
Can one police officer catch all the bad guys in the world by himself?

The simple answer is:
NO.

It takes a dedicated force of many police officers and precincts all over the world to even start to put a dent in crime.

Anti programs are no better... No matter what their claims are... new infections are born every minute of everyday --- One program simply  cannot  get them all.
It's unwise  to use just one program... you're putting your computer system at risk.

It takes a dedicated arsenal of well known and trusted tools to keep a system running clean and maintained.

A Lot of people will say... "But I don't download anything!" --- This is fine and dandy but the truth is... you don't even have to download a single solitary thing. Just visiting a website can infect your computer without your knowledge, consent, or much interaction on the user end at all.

There are also many programs out there that come bundled with built in spyware/malware and these folks are infections that run behind the scenes and gather personal information that can put you at risk. --- Things like 'Free graphics/Smileys/Email themes/Free Screensavers' ---etc.

These rather 'docile' looking enticing programs can be hiding some foreign unwanted malicious code that you'll never know is just sitting there lurking in your computer background all invisible like.

Malicious Code can lurk on webpages and just by surfing through them...BAM! - You're infected...bad code has infiltrated your computer and will run silently in the background downloading other junk without your knowledge.

Over my many years of experience, I have found some tools that work well together, do a fantastic job and will clean up and maintain even the most  infested and neglected computers.

Love it! It's so important to maintain your PC's health, and so few people do it.

thanks for the info....we have several antivirus, antimalware and antispyware programs on our computer and we defrag it regularly.  Plus we clean out anything we do not need periodically.

You are awesome!! My PC was running super slow and DH got some nasty virus that was messing everything up on his PC and I did your weekly regimen on both of our PCs and they both work wonderfully now!! I have continued doing the clean up since!!

Yes, but what are you using?  ---That's where the problem usually lies.

People count on and pay good money for anti programs that simply do not work.

My regimen is thorough, and provides a better attack 'construct' ----Defrag that is far superior to windows is also covered.

It's good that you're trying to maintain and keep your system clean.

I'd still say give my 'Weekly PC Health Regimen' a try... I bet you'll find icky stuff your programs missed. (I've yet to find a PC that was spotless...even brand new 1 week old out of the box.)
