My Soldier

I just returned from Kentucky.  My husband just graduated army basic training from Fort Knox.  He is now at Fort Leonard Wood for his advanced individual training in operating big construction equipment.  He will be back home in early August and will be stationed in a town about 45 minutes west of our current location.  There he will get the opportunity to sign up and join a school for more training and actually join of of the groups in the Army Corps of Engineers.  I am so proud of my husband for moving on from the past and making life better for our family.  I am a military brat, so what my husband faces now isn't really all that new to me.  I am prepared for anything and taking my husbands accomplishments in strides.  I am very proud of him and very happy to be his wife!  My husband is very proud of himself for making this big step for his self improvment and our family's improvment.  I AM THE PROUD WIFE OF A UNITED STATES SOLDIER!  HOOAH!
