Alexis' big girl bed!!

Alexis slept in her big girl bed for the first time last night...no more crib =(

Its exciting yet sad at the same time, ya know? They grow up WAAAAY too fast, and shes not even 2 so Im in for a fast ride LOL I wanted a bed, not a toddler bed b/c I think theyre a waste of $$, so its a twin box spring and mattress that wed already had. When she gets older we'll put the bed together and she'll have that for awhile.

Ok, so we put her in her bed to go nite-nite and she did GREAT! We thought she'd throw a fit and be up all night, but she was such a big girl!!

THEN (theres ALWAYS a then), comes nap time. So, we put her down at 10:30 when she said "nite-nite momma, binkie please". At first, she was just talking in her room (we still have her baby monitor), all of a sudden it got quiet so Nate got up to check on her......she drew ALL over our beige carpet, her window sill and window with GREEN PERMANENT MARKER!!!!! OMGOSH-how in the hell am I supposed to get that up?? Im sure ya all know were selling our house so this doesnt help at all!!

So anyways, Nate walks in there and shes drawing on the floor and looks up at him with a big smile and says "hi daddy! Love you!". What am I supposed to do with that?? Shes too cute to spank at this point, especially after she gets her dad laughing at her. She soo stinking onary =)
