Current mood: content Category: Life This weekend was awesome. Gone was the drama of a few days before. Jami and I were back on track and Saturday afternoon he and his son, Michael, picked me up. We had a great time at Dave and Busters which I had never been too. It took a little patience on my part since I am not used to someone jumping in on me when it is my turn. Michael has a hard time recognizing that other people get a turn too. I was past due for my meds too but I kept it together and remembered that there was plenty of fun to be had by everyone. Jami and I, got out picture taken in this booth where you can get all kinds of funky stuff done to them. Out of curiosity we decided to see what our "daughter" would look like. (I had my tubes tied so she is not goinng to happen.) She is such a cutie! Yea it printed out a photo. I really need to scan it when I go to my mom's this week so you can all see. She has my eyes. :) Before Dave and Busters though, we went to Build a Bear and Jami got me a bear with Bruins gear. He is so cuuuuute! I registered him online and now I have discovered just how addictive the online community of BuildaBearville is. OMG I was on for like four hours before I realized I hadn't even checked into Facebook OR MySpace!!! Imagine that! LOL Oh if anyone on here happens to have a character, let me know and we can exchange usernames. Later on the evening we went to a carnival where there were fireworks. Jami won some prizes for me(which I gave to Des since I already had my bear). Speaking of Des, he was with his Dad still at this point. I slept over Jami's and the next day we set off for Newport to go get my kid. Off to the beach we went. We all got good and dirty digging in the wet sand and hung out at the playground there. When that got old we headed to Desmond's old school and played a little baseball, then did the playground thing there too, where Jami took some great shots of the boys. Again, will have to add those photos to my page! We stopped at Frosty Freeze for ice cream and headed back to my place where the kids played and the grown ups got to catch their breath! LOL Eventurally, it had to come to an end so we all said our goodbyes. The kids seemed kind of amused by "Mom and Dad" being all huggy and smoochy. It was a great feeling, all of us playing together. Just like a little family. I look forward to more times like these. Up next...MEET THE PARENTS. ![]() |
