Ok look, let's break down the great debate shall we??  You would think that after so many of them that there would be nothing to talk about right??  So why are they still posted day after day??

 So ok here it is........

 POST 1:

 I am on PA but run out every month.  Is there something else out there I can use??

 From the replies to this post you find out that:

 

• There are people out there who do not like the fact that you are on PA.
• You will see that there are many people who get frustrated because PA is abused.
• There are many people that think that you should get a job.
• You will find that there are people who think that PA is a great thing to help out when needed.
• You will find that YES there are other people in the same position as you.
• You will get people who are just there to watch the drama of countless PA posts unfold.
• You will find that YES it is there to help you but YOU must figure out another means if you can not make it every month AND that there are other places you can go for food.
• Yada Yada Yada this list can go on and on......

 SO......

 POST 2:

 Why do I get so many rude comments when I say that I am on PA???

 What do you think you will get with this post? Hmmm Yep you guessed it......

 So do we really need to keep beating the horse over the head with this one??  Ever wonder why any more you get sweet pea cartoons hanging out and drinking or bashing their head against the wall??  Because these are posted way too much.  It is what it is.  It is out there and you can't change anything about it, only the government can (which we all know will not happen).

 Is there not anything else that we can talk/debate about??  What about things that are happening in your community or in the world in general???  At this point I would much rather see another post about Jon and Kate Plus 8 then another Great Debate about PA.

Let's see. We could talk about abortion, gay rights (including same sex marriage), spanking, breastfeeding vs. formula feeding, natural vs. medicated birth, homeschooling...I could go on!

Maybe I should make a bingo card of the most frequent CafeMom topics of discussion, and each day we can cross off each topic as they appear. We could even make two, one for the journals section and one for the answers section!
