A curiosity

I'm just curious as to how many of us do good deeds on a fairly regular basis.  I hear so much nonsense with people degrading each other, and in general just not being very nice, I'd like to know how many people out there smile at strangers, visit nursing homes, help out families in their time of need, dog walk for an elderly neighbor or cut their grass or anything else you'd like to tell about.  Myself, I love to crochet and twice a month, I load 4 or 5 lap throws in my car and head out to the nursing homes in town to find the grandma or grandpa that hasn't had any company in a while and give them the lap throw and sit and visit for a little while, I also am known around town as the one that will help out with food and clothes if you need them.  I'd like to hear about some good deeds for once, I'd like to prove that there is more good in this world than what we hear about on the news.
