I just wonder how you would feel if there was the "fifteen most beautiful white women" or the "miss white america" pageant or "white entertainment television"?  this is a genuine question.  I understand that african americans were mistreated and oppressed, but I think things like this only add to further segregation.  I think it's racism against whites...and somehow everyone is okay with it. 

Just seems odd to me...

BTW - I think they are all beautiful!

without actually checking i'm sure there are blogs out there like that. they wouldn't bother me. i don't think there's anything with being diverse. not all the women are african-american, btw. i don't think there is anything wrong with celebrating diversity and minorities. that's what my blog is mostly for-women of color. just because someone is pro-black or pro-whatever does not make them anti-everyone else.  in my opinion, there is nothing racist about it.

Thank you for sharing that it was wonderful to see the diversity of woman in this site. Woman of color do need to remind that we are beautiful no matter what shade we are or ethnic background God bless Rashida

I hear you...  I just think it's odd that our society says it's okay to have things (tv channels, contests, colleges, ect..) for african-americans only....but I bet a lot of people would be up in arms if the same thing was done for "whites only."  It's just an odd double-standard. 

Oh well!  :)

@ MyHeartIsnIraq our society says it's okay to have channels for whoever, asians, latinos, just women, just men, whoever. it's a free country. not sure what you are speaking about. we barely had the civil rights movement in the 60's. i mean i could go on but i think that it's not my job to school you on history. plain and simple, minorities are not treated the same as non-minorities. that is reality and therefore, i celebrate those who are diverse/minorities.

i think we are all beauiful,because,frist god,mad nothing ugly,but we got some people in the world,the put big,pepledown,i fill,if you feel good about yourself,then thats all that matter,because peple are always,gonna,say what they want .so if you big and beauiful,are small and beauiful,and feel good about your self thats,all that really matter,because,we all have feelings.
