My head is spinning with all of the "end of the year" (school year that is) stuff!  If I could just get through the dance recital, the Kindergarten graduation, the Junior Girl Scout "flying up" ceremony, the nursery school "closing program" and the elementary school fitness awards, I will be happy.  The only way I can relax at this time of year is to look at the calendar for the months July and August. Their pages are blessedly empty and clean.  Oh and let's not forget the Daisy picnic at the park, the Pre-K orientation, the school carnival and the Vigil mass for my 12 year old confirmation candidate.  Let me take a deep breath.  Okay, there's only a few more.  The last PTO meeting, 2 more softball games, 2 more tennis lessons and only 3 more dance lessons.  One more orthodontist visit (the braces came off yesterday), and the nursery school picnic.  Let's throw in buying a Father's Day present and teacher's gifts (what do you think of gift cards for Dunkin Donuts?)  and we are almost there.

I have vowed not to write anything on the July and August pages.  We will have no obligations.  No reason to wake early.  We will go where the wind takes us.  Except for the week of Bible Camp.  Oh, and I still have to make an appointment for that mammography.  Darn, I forgot to write in my husband's company picnic in July.  I'll do that now, but that's it.  I'm done.  The Jonas Brothers concert doesn't count - that's at night right?  And the birthday party for my 12 year old who will become a teenager in August .....
