My Personal Experience w/ Potty training my DD - PART 2

DAY 10 -         She woke up this morning at 7 with a wet night time underwear.   Just like every other morning.  Anyway, it's almost lunch time and Ava hasn't had any accidents!  She's only gone potty twice, but they were both good ones and she managed to hold it completely until she was sitting on the toilet.  YAY!  She had 2% milk this morning instead of whole milk.  I think we found the culprit!

I think she has to poop.  She keeps running to the bathroom and then grunting while sitting on the toilet.....but nothing.  So, I'm sure she'll be doing that later.

She's napping now.  I love these naps!  I'm not used to them.  LOL!  Ok, the second I said this, she woke up.  I can't win.  Anyway, she woke up with a wet night time underwear, not a whole lot though.

Well, aside from her "night time underwear" from this morning and her nap, she's been dry and has gone in the toilet every single time!  WOOHOO!!!!!!!!  When she has to go, she runs to the bathroom, I put her on the toilet, and she goes with much excitement.  There IS a light at the end of the tunnel!

Ok, well, I spoke too soon.   I think "Murphy" is out to get me today. 

I can tell she's had a long day and that she's starting to get tired because she's had 3 small accidents in a row....all within the last 2 hrs.  Then, she had 2 more after dinner, along with success in the potty.  So, we gave her a bath and put her to bed.  We think she was really tired.  Tomorrow is a new day.  Good night.

DAY 11 - Ava's not feeling well today.  She kept waking up through the night, and was up for the day at 6:30, which isn't like her.  She only had a 30 minute nap.  She had lots of accidents today.  She's just like me when she's not feeling well.  When I'm not up to par, I just don't care about anything.  She just didn't care today.  We also went to the store late afternoon.  We took her to the bathroom (in the store) 5 times in an hour and nothing.  Then, when we were getting ready to leave, she had an accident.  I think her molars are starting to cut because she was chomping on her fingers and very whiney.  So I gave her Motrin and put her to bed.  We'll see how she feels tomorrow.  Good night.

I just want to add that even though my DD doesn't feel well, or we choose to go somewhere, doesn't mean I will put Pull-ups or diapers back on her.  I think that's a cop-out excuse for a lazy parent.  Plus, I'm not going to give up on my child.

DAY 12 -     Daddy got up with her this morning.  She did good for him.  Only had 1 accident and went potty twice.  So, far, it has been a better day.  She's not as cranky and not having as many accidents.  It's close to dinner time right now and she's had 4 accidents all day.  The rest of the times, she's gone potty in the toilet.  She even went poop in the toilet! 

Today was definately a better day than yesturday.  She had a total of 5 accidents all day.  Most of the time, she just ran to the bathroom and got excited and cheered when she did go in the toilet.  She's cute because right before she lets it loose, she gets a very concentrated look on her face.  LOL!  Well, let's see how tomorrow goes.  Good night.

DAY 13 -     Today has been a wild one.  I woke up to find her jammies and "night time underwear" off with poop all over her crib.  All she did was look at me and smile with that "Aren't I cute, mom?" look.  So, she immediately got a bath and then I cleaned up everything.  Other than that, no accidents today and it's a little after lunch time. 

She only had 2 accidents today.  The first one was a drip trail on the way to the bathroom.  The second was while I was using the restroom and she just stood tehre in the bathroom and peed a huge puddle.  I couldn't get done fast enough.  She started to cry.  Poor baby.  I felt really bad for her.  Other than that, she ran to the bathroom every time she had to go and went potty in the toilet like a big girl.  My DH and I are very proud of her.  Good night.

DAY 14 - Today has been a great day.  Of course, she woke up wet....no biggie.  She's been running to the bathroom and going in the toilet every time.  NO ACCIDENTS!  The only accident she's had was when she was eating lunch and sitting in her high chair.  Then, when she woke up from her 45 min. nap, she was wet and poopie.  Other than that, she's been great!  It's mid-afternoon right now.

During lunch, she peed in the high chair without any sign that she had to go.  Then, late after noon, she was playing and just peed.  When I said, "Ava", she jumped and ran to the bathroom and finished.  We went outside later to check the mail and I was letting her walk around for a few minutes.  Well, she just froze in her tracks and peed all over the sidewalk.  So, she had a total of 3 accidents today.  I think, all in all, she's doing great!  Good night.

DAY 15 -        Today has been great!  The only accident she had was when I was in the middle of going to the bathroom.  So, that was my fault.  But, she does need to learn how to hold it and wait her turn.  Other than that, NO ACCIDENTS!  It's dinner time.  She's even gone poo poo in the toilet.  I guess she's potty AND poop trained!  WooHoo!  Good night.

DAY 16 -       NO ACCIDENTS!  Until after dinner.  She only had that one accident because no one was paying attention to her and her standing at the bathroom door.  That was it.  Good night.

DAY 17 -      Well, grandma came over and babysat Ava all day while Chris and I had important matters to attend.  So, Ava did very well all day, so grandma decided to take her to Mc Donalds for a treat.  The second Ava saw the playground, she screamed in excitement and peed her pants.  LOL!  I wish I could've been there to that.  Anway, we picked up Ava then ran some more errands.  When we got home, she peed before I could get her to the toilet.  Oh well.  She did really good today.  Good night.

hey i was wondering if you did the 3 day potty training method. girl all i got to say is way to go with her so young! jessica was 2 and half almost when i started and got it fast! i did the 3 day training. if you want ebook let me know ok :)
