This is what Tami's parents gave me for my sixteenth birthday. Her last school photo in a dolphin frame they had gotten on vacation the prior year. It was eleven days after her death.  She died in a car accident on May 29, 1999 around 8pm. It was a rainy saturday in Texas, very rare for the area. It had rained for hours. It was also high school graduation and she was at a graduation party and left with a couple boys to go to one of their grandfather's house. The details are sketchy and were never flushed out. For some reason the driver swerved and hit an enbankment sending Tami through the windshield and then the truck flipped on top of her and then rolled off. The driver had a broken back and was seriously injured and the other passenger was in a coma for a few weeks. The sheriff told our parents(my mom and mama haley) that she looked like she had been through a cheese shredder. We(myself and five other friends along with the two moms) went to the seen of the accident and her blood was still staining the grass. It was one of the most horrible moments in my life. She took with her part of my soul and joy and my religion. I couldn't pray to a god or look for one after that. She was just shy of her fifteenth birthday and left a void in many people's lives. This anniversary has struck me as difficult and I don't know why. After the first couple it was easier to deal with, but this one I have thought about her since early this morning. I miss her so much. I wonder what she would have been like. If she would be proud of me and loved my children. She wanted to be a peditrician and she loved little kids. She was beautiful, my twin flame, and remains that way in mind.

I'm sorry. I'm sure she is with you often and is always watching out for you and your children. I know that she knows you think of her.
