Forgot the Pins!

Recently I put up a post saying I wished for money since I needed new clothes. Well, here's an "update".

I was able to go to my MIL's house to pick up my needles and thread... but I forgot my pins! So, tomorrow I am again heading over there to pick them up.

I have run out of clothes to wear. I am 30 weeks pregnant and all of my dresses no longer fit correctly. I have one dress that'll fit, so now I am in a rush to make a few more. I hand sew... so, this is going to take a while. I am hoping to have two t-shirt dresses done by next weekend... if I can get my pins. Then I'm going to start working on my nursing dresses. I might even have to send DH to get the pins because I don't have anything I can wear!

Why, oh why, did I ever donate my maternity and nursing dresses last year?! And why didn't I realize or remember that I had done that?! Last week when I popped a button on my jumper dress I started foraging for my nursing and maternity dresses and asked DH if he had seen them... he said he thought we donated them... I told him I wouldn't be so stupid, but sure enough they are not in our storage boxes. We did donate them.

Then we had to wait for SIL's wedding reception to be over and done with before MIL could go through her sewing things to find my needles and thread that I had left at her house during last summer's sewing project for the kids clothes I did with her.

Arg... anyway. Wish me luck that I can get those pins tomorrow and start on those dresses. Only 10 more weeks to wear them too (the maternity ones), but this time I'm not donating them when this pregnancy is finished! I guess I learned a good lesson there! Wish me luck on sewing the nursing dresses before baby comes as well!
